The purpose of using the blogspot communication blog, is to publish information that students and parents can view, at anytime. Using google blogger, teachers can publish notes or documents or any information needed that students and parents might need to be informed with the class.
With the blogspot communication blog, you can publish any kind of information that students or parents need, in order to understand the classroom procedures and assignments. Blogspot is a great source, because it is always viewable with an internet connection. You can view blogspot posts on tablets, labtops, or desktops at any time of the day. Also,blogspot supports pictures, video and hypertext. You can post links or upload instructional pictures, scans, or give students access to vital videoes. Overall blogspot is a great tool for classrooms and should continue to be used for educational purposes.
I would use blogspot in my classroom as a way to publish big events or projects. Students dont have to worry about loosing checklists or documents, because they are published online. I'd also use blogspot for things such as syllabus publishing and other important documents. By publishing these documents, students cant loose them unless they forget the link to the provided document.
